Bre Colley

Hey it’s Bre 🤍

If you’re new here, hi. I’ve been coaching women in health, fitness and mindset for close to 8 years now, and if there’s one thing I will always say, it’s that there is no magic supplement that replaces the basics. You can buy all the powders in the world, but if you’re not training properly, eating enough, managing your stress and actually sleeping, nothing will hit the way you want it to.

But, we don't live in a perfect world. You’re busy. You travel. You’ve got work, relationships, intense training blocks, hormones doing their thing, and sometimes even when your nutrition is GREAT, it’s still missing a few things. That’s where supplements can actually support you. Support your performance, recovery, energy and overall wellbeing long term.

I also know how overwhelming it can feel. Everyone is selling something. Everyone has a must have stack. Half the time it just adds more confusion and makes you feel like you’re behind if you’re not taking ten different things a day.

So I’ve kept this simple. This page is just a curated list of what I personally use and what I regularly recommend to my clients when it makes sense for them. Not trends, just things that have earned a place in my routine and have consistently delivered results with the women I coach.

Use this as a guide, not a rulebook. Focus on your foundations first, stay consistent, and then choose what genuinely fits your lifestyle.

And if you do try any of these, tag me at @coachedbybre. I love seeing how you make it work for you!

Gut Health Support

Colostrum: This is one I come back to when training volume is high, stress is up, or my digestion feels a bit off. Colostrum supports the gut lining and immune system, which matters way more than people realise when you’re training hard or constantly on the go. I don’t use it forever, but when I do, I notice better digestion, fewer flare-ups, and overall improved resilience in my body.

Glutamine: This stays in my routine for gut health, recovery, and immune support. It helps maintain the gut lining, supports immune cells, and assists muscle recovery after training. It’s not a “craving killer” supplement, but when gut health and recovery improve, cravings driven by stress, fatigue, or poor digestion tend to settle naturally. This one does a lot quietly in the background.

Workout Support

Creatine Monohydrate: A non-negotiable for me. I take it daily for strength, power, performance, and recovery. It also supports cognitive function, which is honestly underrated. No cycling. No hype. Just one of the most researched, effective supplements you can take consistently long term.

Protein Switch: This is my easy win for getting more protein in without forcing meals. I use it for shakes, but also for baking and sweet treats, so I can make things that actually taste good and support my goals. It makes it simple to turn snacks and desserts into higher-protein options without upsetting digestion or feeling heavy. Practical, versatile, and genuinely enjoyable to use.

Sleep & Stress Support

Adrenal Switch: This is part of my night routine. It helps my body switch out of go-mode and actually wind down, which is huge for recovery, sleep quality, and nervous system regulation. My favourite flavour is chocolate. I’ll have it hot like a hot chocolate, cold, or blended with protein powder. It doubles as a really nice sweet treat after dinner, so I’m not mindlessly snacking before bed while still supporting recovery and sleep.

Ashwagandha (KSM-66): This helps with stress tolerance, cortisol balance, and overall resilience. It’s not about numbing yourself — it’s about helping your body handle physical and mental stress better so sleep, recovery, and focus don’t take a hit.

Energy & Focus Support

Coffee Switch: I love coffee. Probably too much. Coffee Switch lets me enjoy the ritual without sending my nervous system sideways. It gives smooth, sustained energy and better focus thanks to the added nootropic ingredients, without the crash or jitters. Still tastes like coffee. Still feels enjoyable. Just a smarter version.

Other Client Recommendations

These are supplements I don’t use regularly, but have used in the past or frequently recommend to clients depending on their needs.

Berberine+: I’ve used Berberine in the past and it worked wonders for me when I was struggling with blood sugar swings, intense cravings, and that constant “snacky” feeling. It’s a powerful tool for clients dealing with cravings tied to insulin resistance, poor metabolic health, or energy crashes. Not something everyone needs, but incredibly effective when used appropriately.

Inositol: I don’t personally use Inositol day-to-day, but it’s something I regularly recommend to clients who need support with blood sugar regulation, hormonal balance, cravings, and mental clarity. It’s especially helpful for women whose cravings or energy dips are linked to stress, sleep, or hormonal fluctuations, and it’s easy to use consistently without being stimulating.
