My name is Emily de Rooy, I’m 25 and was born in Townsville in North Queensland but recently made the move down to Wollongong where I live now.

I’ve been doing CrossFit for 8 years now and have made the CrossFit Games 3 times, twice as an individual and once as a team where we were able to take the win. Before CrossFit I was a competitive swimmer/surf life saver for 11 years, and also dabbled in other sports such as water polo and rugby league/union before finding CrossFit.

I’ve got a degree in Sport Science which I plan to use once I’ve finished my career in CrossFit, whenever that might be.
